Reflection Post

Briefly, what is your personal relationship to the topic?

This was the most personal project we did in that it reflected the past year of my life working at Amazon, and the trials and tribulations that went along with that.

Why did you choose this Adobe program and, more particularly, this specific Unit project?

I chose this program in that it was the freshest, and also the one which I thought I could make improvements to in regards to music, photos, transitions.

How did you alter/improve the project? Be technical and specific.

I edited the track to be an acoustic guitar free use track instead of piano, I think this fits the vibe more, and is more relaxing overall. I changed some photos and removed a photo that I thought was less relevant. I also adjusted the transitions, and some framing so that it was less visually abrasive.

Why did you choose to alter the project in this way? What is the rationale behind your choices?

I chose to alter the project like this because it felt like the best thing to do for completing this journey. I wanted to be satisfied with the closure of this chapter of my life, and changing these things allows me to be happy with my final project for this course.

If you were to employ this project for professional application, what would your vision be?

I think this video would work well in a former Amazon support group, they treat their fulfillment workers so poorly, it shows that things can get better if you bet on yourself.

Which media avenue would you choose?

I think social media, is the most prevalent matter of distribution and YouTube being the paramount choice.

Who is your defined audience and how did you improve the content to effectively reach them (hypothetically)?

My audience is the modern American worker who feels beaten down by the system and is finding it hard to find motivation. I improved the content to make it more approachable, and made it so that they can believe in themselves.
